Who we are

Noron AB (“Noron”, “we”) is a specialist engineering consultancy registered in Sweden, organisationsnummer 559586-0940. Our registered address is Skovelvägen 23, 771 42 Ludvika, Sweden. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. Contact us about privacy at info@noron.se.

What we collect and why

Contact form and email. When you send a message through the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, company and message you provide. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads to work, to manage that engagement. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and steps taken at your request prior to a contract.

Form submissions are processed by our application in Microsoft Azure and delivered using Azure Communication Services to our Microsoft 365 inbox. Microsoft acts as our service provider for hosting and message delivery.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) to operate and secure the site.

Cookies. This site's own code sets no analytics or marketing cookies. Our hosting platform may set a small number of cookies for traffic measurement and security. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. Server logs are retained per our host's standard schedule.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run this site, form delivery and email, acting on our instructions. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to processing, and you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). To exercise any of these, email info@noron.se.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site or our providers change. The current version is always at this URL, with the date shown above.
